Voltorb Pokédex Information
Voltorb is an Electric type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Red and Blue which released in Japan on 12th September 1999. It evolves to Electrode
Voltorb is a spherical Pokémon, whose gender is unknown, that resembles a Poké Ball. Its upper hemisphere is pink and its two angular eyes are visible at the front. The lower hemisphere is white with no markings. It rolls to move. If the ground is uneven, a sudden jolt from hitting a bump can cause it to explode.
Voltorb takes on a different form when it appears in Hisui. In Hisuian form it is an Electric / Grass type Pokémon and its gender is unknown. Its upper hemisphere is dark orange and its eyes are more defined, displaying as a black hole within an etched out shape. Its lower hemisphere is pale orange. An enigmatic Pokémon that happens to bear a resemblance to a Poké Ball. When excited, it discharges the electric current it has stored in its belly, then lets out a great, uproarious laugh.
