What is the Scarlet and Violet Elite Trainer Box?
The Scarlet and Violet Elite Trainer Box released on 31st March 2023 with two different designs. One will feature Koraidon and the other Miraidon. These will be the first Elite Trainer Boxes of the new Scarlet and Violet Generation IX series.
An Elite Trainer Box (ETB) is a special set of cards and accessories that includes everything necessary to play the Pokémon Trading Card game.
Most sets release one Elite Trainer Box, however, for the Scarlet and Violet Base Set two different designs of Elite Trainer Boxes have been revealed. The scarlet red box features Koraidon while the violet purple box features Miraidon.
The artwork for the boxes features backgrounds of Scarlet red or Violet purple. The featured characters are outlined on the front of the boxes in gold.
What is in a Scarlet and Violet Elite Trainer Box?
After carefully removing the plastic shrink wrap covering, the outer sleeve can be slid off to reveal a Player’s Guide and an inner box.
The inner box holds the main contents and is designed to function as a card holder once the products inside have been removed.
The contents of the Scarlet and Violet Elite Trainer Box are:
A Black Star Promo card featuring Koraidon (SVP014) or Miraidon (SVP013)
9 Scarlet and Violet Base Set sealed booster packs
A sealed pack of 45 assorted energy cards
4 dividers for the card holder box featuring the character depicted on the box
A sealed pack of 65 card sleeves featuring the same character design as on the outer box
A sealed pack of dice and a sealed pack containing 2 markers.
A book of the Pokémon Trading Card game rules and a code card tor the online game.
