What is Rescue Energy?
Rescue Energy is a Special Energy that was used in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). It has only been released once – in the HGSS Triumphant set of 2010.

The Rescue Energy card provides one Colorless Energy. If the card Rescue Energy is attached to is knocked out then the Pokémon can be put back into the player’s hand. The card design features the Colorless Energy symbol.
In the Pokémon TCG, a player can only use an Attack Move if the specified number of Energy are attached. This specified number generally includes one or more Energy that corresponds to the Pokémon type, and / or a number of Colorless Energy. Rescue Energy Cards provide one Colorless Energy.
Rescue Energy Card Text:
The text on the card reads: ‘React Energy provides 
Energy. If the Pokémon this card is attached to is Knocked Out by damage from an attack, put that Pokémon back into your hand. (Discard all cards attached to that Pokémon.)’
