Raticate Pokédex Information
Raticate is a Normal type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Red and Blue which released internationally on 28th September 1998. It evolves from Rattata.
This Pokémon is a small four-legged rodent that is based on a mouse though its name would indicate a rat. Its fur is predominantly brown but it has a cream belly. It is often seen standing on its hind legs. Its hind feet are webbed and they act as flippers, so it can swim in rivers and hunt for prey.
When Raticate appears in the Alolan region it takes on Alolan form. In this form its is a Dark / Normal type Pokémon. It is the same size but is a heavier weight. Its fur is predominantly black with a brown belly. It makes its Rattata underlings gather food for it, dining solely on the most nutritious and delicious fare.
