What are the Prismatic Evolutions Mini Tins?
The Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions Mini Tins collection is scheduled to be released on 17th January 2025, the set release date for this special expansion set. The tins will retail for £9.99 in the UK and $9.99 in the US.
There are eight different tins to collect each depicting one of the eight evolutions of Eevee – Jolteon, Espeon, Glaceon, Sylveon, Leafeon, Umbreon, Vaporeon and Flareon.
As can be seen in the image above, the background for the tins fit together to depict a single image.
The Manufacturer’s Recommended Selling Price is £9.99 in the UK and $9.99 in the US.
The sturdy metal mini tins are pocket-sized, measuring 7.6 x 12.4 x 2.5 cm (3 x 5 x 1 in).

Are the Prismatic Evolutions Mini Tins good value for money?
Each tin contains 2 Prismatic Evolutions Booster packs. As this is a special set, individual booster packs are not available to purchase individually. However they are likely to be available on selling sites such as Ebay for around £4 in the UK and $4 in the US. The coin could fetch £2 / $2 at auction while the empty tins and card insets are often sought after by collectors and generally fetch upwards of £1 / $1 at auction, more if there is a complete set.
Two Prismatic Evolutions Booster packs would therefore cost £8 / $8. Adding the expected value of the coin and the empty tin and card inset takes the value to £11 / $11. The Prismatic Evolutions Mini Tins are a reasonable value for money.
