Porygon Pokédex Information
Porygon is a Normal type Pokémon that first appeared in Pokémon Red and Blue which released internationally on 28th September 1998. It evolves to Porygon2 which then evolves to Porygon-Z.
Porygon is a man-made character that resembles a duck but is based on Computer Code. It is comprised of a number of pink and blue polygons which give it form. Its lower body, legs, tail and beak are blue while its head and lower body are blue. State-of-the-art technology was used to create Porygon. It was the first artificial Pokémon to be created via computer programming.
