Poliwag Pokédex Information
Poliwag is a Water type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Red and Blue which released in Japan on 12th September 1999. It evolves to Poliwhirl which evolves to Poliwrath or Politoed.
Poliwag is a two-legged Pokémon that is based on a tadpole. Tadpoles have translucent bodies and their coiled intestines are visible. It has a rounded body with large eyes at the top. It is blue apart from its hands and the front of its body which are white. A dark blue spiral can be seen on its white stomach. It has a long thin tail which is surrounded by a pale blue spoon-shaped area at the end. For Poliwag, swimming is easier than walking. The swirl pattern on its belly is actually part of the Pokémon’s innards showing through the skin.
