What are Pokémon Trick or Trade BOOster Packs 2023?
Pokémon Trick or Trade BOOster Packs 2023 will be released on 1st September 2023. Designed to celebrate Halloween, Pokémon Trick or Trade BOOster Packs will be available for purchase in shops and the Pokémon Center.
Pokémon Trick or Trade BOOster Packs were first launched in 2022. Their release for a second year in 2023 suggests that they may become a regular yearly product.
The BOOster packs will not be available to purchase singly but are sold in a Pokémon Trick or Trade Bundle which will contain 50 BOOster packs each containing 3 Pokémon cards. The artwork for the Bundle features Pikachu and Mimikyu against a green Halloween-type background of gnarled trees and flying bats.
The artwork for the BOOster packs features Pikachu and Mimikyu against a purple background. The 2022 set contained 30 cards which were reprints of existing cards stamped with a pumpkin-faced Pikachu. The 2023 set details have not yet been released but it is expected that they will be the same or similar.
The official 2022 announcement of the Pokémon Trick or Trade BOOster packs included a statement that this new product was produced with the aim of the packs or cards being given out for ‘Trick or Treat’ instead of sweets.
