The Pokémon Stellar Crown release date has been announced and will release Worldwide on 13th September 2024. Stellar Crown is the seventh main expansion set of the Generation IX Series and is designated SV07.
What do we know so far about Pokémon Stellar Crown?
This set will see the debut of Terapagos which first appeared in the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expansion of the game Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. It will also feature Stellar Tera Pokémon ex.
Stellar Crown will include cards released in the Japanese set Stellar Miracle including Terapagos ex, Cinderace ex, Lapras ex and Galvantula ex
The set description states:
“In Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown, players will be able to immerse themselves in the Terastal phenomenon, first seen in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, with the introduction of Stellar Tera Pokémon ex to the Pokémon TCG. Each Stellar Tera Pokémon ex will have a special stellar attack with names inspired by various gemstones, which will cost three different types of Energy to use. In addition, the upcoming expansion also features unique illustrations highlighting the brilliant crystalline qualities of the Stellar Tera Pokémon ex.”
Stellar Crown will contain more than 170 cards including:
3 ACE SPEC Trainer cards
10 Pokémon ex
4 Stellar Tera ex
13 Illustration rare Pokémon
6 Special Illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards
3 Hyper Rare Gold etched cards

The artwork for the set Booster Packs has been revealed. There are 4 different designs featuring Cinderace, Galvantula, Lapras, Terapagos.
Will Stellar include Ace Spec Cards?
Ace Spec Cards returned to the Trading card game in March 2024 with the release of the Temporal Forces set on 22nd March 2024.
Pokémon Ace Spec cards are Trainer Item cards that have unique, special effects that are beneficial to the player of those cards. These effects range from drawing extra cards, to recovering Pokémon from the discard pile, to granting immunity to certain effects. As with any new mechanic the return of these cards will introduce new strategies into the Trading Card Game (TCG).
Seven Ace Spec Cards were released in the Temporal Forces set, six were included with Twilight Masquerade, three in Shrouded Fable and three more will be included in this set.
