What are Shining Fates V Tins?
The Shining Fates V Tins Collection launched on 19th February 2021 as part of the main Shining Fates expansion set release.
V and VMAX powers were introduced with the Sword and Shield series which launched in February 2020. The new speciality powers replaced the GX and EX powers of previous sets.
There are three different tins featuring Boltund V, Cramorant V and Eldegoss V. The artwork for the tins depicts the featured character on the right side set against a background that reflects its type. A middle cutaway section reveals the enclosed Promo Card. Each tin is individually sealed with a strip of plastic around the middle. This is quite thin and does not protect the tin from scratches or knocks.
What is inside the Shining Fates V Tins?
The plastic shrink-wrap is removed by pulling the tear-off strip around the middle.
Once it has been done, the lid of the tin can be removed to reveal the contents of the tin.
The products inside the tin are housed in clear plastic which makes the tin look rather empty. Other tins have a honeycomb card inset which looks much nicer and gives a better finish.
A black star promo card for that tin’s character is sitting on the uppermost plastic inset. The Eldegoss V card is SWSH084, Boltund V is SWSH085 and Cramorant V is SWSH086.
Underneath the promo card is an online code card for the tin and beneath this are 5 Shining Fates booster packs.
