The Pokémon Paldean Fates release date has been announced and will release Worldwide in stages beginning 26th January 2024. Paldean Fates is the second special expansion set of the Generation IX Series and is designated SV4.5.
What do we know so far about Pokémon Paldean Fates?
This upcoming set will include cards from the Japanese set Shining Treasures ex and is inspired by the previous sets – Hidden Fates 2019 and Shining Fates 2021.
It will contain more than 240 cards including:

including Shiny Pikachu, Shiny Ceruledge, Shiny Tinkaton, Shiny Dondozo, Shiny Tatsugiri

including Charizard, Forretress and Espathra

Pokémon Paldean Fates Pack Art
The artwork for the set Booster Packs has been revealed. There are 4 different designs featuring – Ceruledge, Dondozo, Pikachu and Tinkaton.
Ancient and Future Mechanic
The Ancient and Future mechanics launched in November 2023 with the release of the expansion set Paradox Rift. These new Paradox Pokémon are ancient and futuristic versions of existing Pokémon.
It has been confirmed that cards from Paldean Fates will include this mechanic, and as with Paradox Rift, these cards will be stamped with either Ancient or Future depending on their type.
Additionally Ancient cards will feature the lines of sedimentary rock across half of the text part of regular cards, while Future cards will feature a digital code of red and blue squares on a black background in the same position.
