The Nintendo Switch console was released on 3rd March 2017 and was the first hybrid console that could be used as a hand-held device as well as a traditional games console.

Released 11th November 2022
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is the first Generation IX game and is set in the Paldea region. It is an open world game and includes three different stories.
Pokémon Legends Arceus
Released 28th January 2022
Pokémon Legends Arceus was the last Generation VIII game and is set in the Sinnoh region. It was the first open world.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl
Released 19th November 2021
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are remakes of the original Diamond and Pearl games set in the Sinnoh region.
Pokémon Snap
Released 30th April 2021
Pokémon Snap is a side game where players are tasked with photographing Pokémon in their natural surroundings.
Pokémon Unite
Released 21st July 2021
Pokémon Unite is a multi-player online battle arena game. It is free to play but does include optional in-game purchases. Players are put into teams and battle using their chosen Pokémon.
Pokémon Café Remix
Released 23rd June 2020
Pokémon Café Remix is a side game where players work with their Pokémon to complete puzzles and run a café.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX
Released 6th March 2020
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX is a remake of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. In the game players become a Pokémon character and interact and battle with other Pokémon as part of a rescue team.
Pokémon Sword and Shield
Released 15th November 2019
Pokémon Sword and Shield was the first game of Generation VIII set in the Galar region. Players have to travel the region and defeat the 8 gym leaders before battling the Champion. In 2020 an expansion pass was released, adding the Crown Tundra area to Galar.
Let’s Go Pikachu, Let’s Go Eevee

Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu, Let’s Go Eevee are remakes of the original Pokémon Yellow and set in the Kanto region. Players partner either Pikachu or Eevee to travel the region to defeat the Gym Leaders and become champion.
Pokémon Quest
Released 29th May 2018
Pokémon Quest is a free-to-play game set on Tumblecube Island. Here, Pokémon take on a cubist form in this location. Players set off on an expedition to find hidden treasures.
Pokémon Pokken Tournament DX
Released 15th June 2017
Pokémon Pokken Tournament DX is a battle tournament game where players take direct control of Pokémon characters. The game originally launched on the Nintendo Wii but was relaunched for the Nintendo Switch.
