Pinsir Pokédex Information
Pinsir is a Normal type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Red and Blue which released in Japan on 12th September 1999. It does not evolve.
Pinsir is a two-legged, grey / brown insect that is based on a stag beetle. Its body is segmented and the upper two segments are dominated by its facial features. Its legs are short, thick and strong while its arms are thinner and longer and end in a claw. It has two very large pincers on its head. These Pokémon judge one another based on pincers. Thicker, more impressive pincers make for more popularity with the opposite gender.
It can evolve to mega form with Pinsirite. In Mega form it is a Bug / Flying type and has a pair of yellow wings with orange projections. Its feet now have three sharp spikes and there are spikes on its pincirs as well. With its vaunted horns, it can lift an opponent 10 times heavier than itself and fly about with ease.
