What are the Paldean Fates Mini Tins?
The Pokémon Paldean Fates Mini Tins collection is scheduled to be released on 9th October 2024. There are five different tins and each will retail for £9.99 in the UK and $9.99 in the US.
There are 5 different tins to collect each depicting a Generation IX Pokémon – Finizen, Flamigo, Maushold, Smoliv or Tinkatink.
The background for the tins depicts a night-sky type background with yellow and white stars and swirling galaxy style lines. The yellow stars are indicative of shiny Pokémon which feature heavily in the Paldean Fates expansion set.
Unlike regular Mini Tins, the artwork for this special set does not fit together to create a scene.
The Manufacturer’s Recommended Selling Price is £9.99 in the UK and $9.99 in the US.
The sturdy metal mini tins are pocket-sized, measuring 7.6 x 12.4 x 2.5 cm (3 x 5 x 1 in).
What’s in the Paldean Fates Mini Tins?
The contents of the tins has been released. Each tin will contain:
2 Pokemon TCG: Paldean Fates booster packs
1 sticker sheet
A card showing the art from the art on the front of the tin
Are the Paldean Fates Mini Tins good value for money?
Each tin contains 2 Paldean Fates Booster packs. As this is a special set, individual booster packs are not available to purchase individually. However they are likely to be available on selling sites such as Ebay for around £4.50 in the UK and $4.50 in the US. Sticker sheets are more aimed at younger Pokémon enthusiasts and their value is negligible. The empty tins and card insets are often sought after by collectors and generally fetch upwards of £1 / $1 at auction, more if there is a complete set.
Two Paldean Fates Booster packs would therefore cost £9 / $9. Adding the expected value of the empty tin and card inset, the Paldean Fates Mini Tins are okay value for money.
