Nidoking Pokédex Information
Nidoking is a Poison / Ground type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Red and Blue which released in Japan on 12th September 1999. It evolves from Nidorino and is the final evolution of Nidoran ♂.
Nidoking is a male-only, two-legged Pokémon that is based believed to be based on the fictional character Baragon, but also bears resemblance to a rhinoceros. It is purple in colour apart from its white belly and blue inner ears. Its body and limbs are muscular, with thick plates at its knees. A single horn projects from its forehead while a line of inverted V projections run down its back. It has a segmented tail which stretches out behind. When it goes on a rampage, it’s impossible to control. But in the presence of a Nidoqueen it’s lived with for a long time, Nidoking calms down.
