Muk Pokédex Information
Muk is a Poison type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Red and Blue which released in Japan on 12th September 1999. It evolves from Grimer.
Muk is a blob of purple and grey poisonous sludge that likely represents pollution. It is roughly dome shaped but has two projections at the side which form its arms. One of its arms is generally outstretched while the other tucks into its body. It has two small eyes and a large cavernous mouth that is grey inside. It’s thickly covered with a filthy, vile sludge. It is so toxic, even its footprints contain poison.
When found in the Alola region, it takes on a different form. Alolan Muk is a Poison / Dark type Pokémon and is heavier than its regular counterpart. While its overall form remains the same, its body is now comprised of different coloured layers of sludge compiled from the trash it continually ingests. Muk’s coloration becomes increasingly vivid the more it feasts on its favorite dish – trash.
