What is the Mimikyu ex Box?
The Mimikyu ex Box is the first Collection box to be released in the Scarlet and Violet Series. It replaces the V Collection boxes of the Sword and Shield Series as the new Generation IX Series sees a return of the ex speciality.
The Mimikyu ex Box released on 3rd March 2023, which is prior to the Scarlet and Violet Base Set release on 31st March 2023.
The artwork for the box features a central pink / purple design which reflects the colour of Psychic-type Mimikyu. In the bottom right corner are ribbon-like bands of silver grey and turquoise. The featured character, Mimikyu is depicted in the bottom left corner.
From the image of the box, the layout appears very similar to the V boxes of the Sword and Shield Series and it is likely it will be a similar size – 29 x 23 x 4 cm (11.5 x 9 x 1.6 inches).
The recommended retail price is likely to be around £20 in the UK and $19.99 in the US.
