Lanturn Pokédex Information
Lanturn is a Water / Electric type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Gold and Silver which were released in Japan in November 1999. It evolves from Chinchou.
This Pokémon is a large fish that is thought to be based on the Anglerfish. It is predominantly purple with a yellow area around its eyes and yellow on its tail. It has a long protrusion from the top of its head that has two orbs that give off light. The light it emits is so bright that it can illuminate the sea’s surface from a depth of over three miles.
