Kangaskhan Pokédex Information
Kangaskhan is a Normal type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Red and Blue which released in Japan on 12th September 1999. It does not evolve.
Kangaskhan is a female only, two legged Pokémon that resembles a kangaroo. It is predominantly brown but has a cream belly and pouch and cream ears and a darker brown colouration on the top of its head. Its arms and legs are powerful and each have three sharp claws. A row of triangular plates protrude from its back and along its tail. Although it’s carrying its baby in a pouch on its belly, Kangaskhan is swift on its feet. It intimidates its opponents with quick jabs.
Kangaskhan can evolve to Mega form with Kangaskhanite. In this form the main difference from its regular form is that its baby is now a young child. Like its mother, the child is two-legged but is grey in colour and has a row of pentagonal plates around its waist with a hexagon in the middle. Its child has grown rapidly, thanks to the energy of Mega Evolution. Mother and child show off their harmonious teamwork in battle.
