Heatran is a Fire / Steel type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl which released in Japan on September 28th 2006. It does not evolve.
This Pokémon is a very large four-legged creature that is based on lava and volcanic rock. Its skin is brown with yellow flashes. It has a metal covering over its head and metal bands around its ankles. It is covered with grey metal raised bumps where melted steel has cooled on its body.
It dwells in volcanic caves. It digs in with its cross-shaped feet to crawl on ceilings and walls.
