Haunter Pokédex Information
Haunter is a Ghost / Poison type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Red and Blue which released in Japan on 12th September 1999. It evolves from Gastly and evolves to Gengar.
Haunter is a purple Pokémon that is comprised of a head and two hands. It is said to be based on a spirit and its grin bears resemblance to the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland. Its rounded form is said to be comprised of gas. It has two white eyes and a large mouth with pointed teeth. Around its head are a number of jagged points. Its two hands are not attached to its body but float in front. It likes to lurk in the dark and tap shoulders with a gaseous hand. Its touch causes endless shuddering
