Grimmsnarl is a Dark / Fairy type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Red and Blue which were released in Japan in September 1998. It evolves from Morgrem and is the final evolution of Impidimp.

Grimmsnarl is a two-legged male only Pokémon that is likely based on an imp or a demon. It is predominantly dark purple in colour but has green feet, and green and red markings on its body, face and ears. It has a muscular appearance enhanced by its thick fur. It has a single green horn with red markings that protrudes above its mouth. This Pokémon has complete control over its hair. Grimmsnarl normally keeps its hair wrapped around its body to support its muscles.

It can evolve to Gigantamax form with the Dynamax Band. In this form it is much bigger and heavier. Its limbs are much longer and its body is leaner. Its colouring is dark blue and purple and it is covered with red line markings. A number of red clouds float around its head. By transforming its leg hair, this Pokémon delivers power-packed drill kicks that can bore huge holes in Galar’s terrain.
