What is the Evolving Skies Elite Trainer Box?
The Evolving Skies Elite Trainer Box was scheduled to be released on 27th August 2021 with two different designs. However, due to supply problems they were delayed by two weeks.
An Elite Trainer Box (ETB) is a special set of cards and accessories that includes everything necessary to play the Pokémon Trading Card game.
Most sets release one Elite Trainer Box, however, from Battle Styles onwards, there have been two different designs of Elite Trainer Boxes released with each set. This may be because the more recent sets have been made from two Japanese sets.
The artwork for the boxes features the eight Eevee evolutions. Sylveon, Vaporeon, Espeon and Glaceon are featured on the pink and blue coloured box while Flareon, Jolteon, Leafeon and Umbreon are featured on the green and orange coloured box.
The boxes are sealed with thin plastic shrink wrap.
What is in an Evolving Skies Elite Trainer Box?
After carefully removing the plastic shrink wrap covering, the outer sleeve can be slid off to reveal a Player’s Guide and an inner box.
The inner box holds the main contents of the box and is designed to function as a card holder once the products inside have been removed.
The images of the contents shown here are of the green and orange box featuring Flareon, Jolteon, Leafeon and Umbreon.
The contents of both boxes are the same but the inner box, card sleeves and card dividers have images of the 4 characters featured on the outside of the box.
The contents of the inner box are:
8 Evolving Skies sealed booster packs
A sealed pack of 45 assorted energy cards
4 dividers for the card holder box featuring the character depicted on the box
A sealed pack of 65 card sleeves featuring the same character design as on the outer box
A sealed pack of dice and a sealed pack containing 2 markers.
A book of the Pokémon Trading Card game rules and a code card tor the online game.
