What is Crystal Energy?
Crystal Energy is a Special Energy that was used in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). It has only been released once – in the Aquapolis set of 2003.

The Crystal Energy card provides one Colorless Energy. However, when it is attached to a Pokémon that already has Energy attached, it provides one Energy of all types. The card design features the Colorless Energy symbol.
In the Pokémon TCG, a player can only use an Attack Move if the specified number of Energy are attached. This specified number generally includes one or more Energy that corresponds to the Pokémon type, and / or a number of Colorless Energy. Crystal Energy Cards provide one Colorless Energy or one of any Energy attached to that Pokémon.
Crystal Energy Card Text:
The text on the card reads: ‘Crystal Energy provides 1 Energy of all types (colors) of basic Energy cards attached to the Pokémon Crystal Energy is attached to.
If there are no basic Energy cards attached to the Pokémon Crystal Energy is attached to, Crystal Energy provides one Colorless Energy.’
