What is an Elite Trainer Box?
The Chilling Reign Elite Trainer Box was released on 18th June 2021 as part of the Chilling Reign launch. There are two different designs featuring Ice Rider Calyrex and Shadow Rider Calyrex.
An Elite Trainer Box (ETB) is a special set of cards and accessories that includes everything necessary to play the Pokémon Trading Card game.
Traditionally, one ETB is released per expansion set. However, for this set two different designs of Elite Trainer Boxes were released.
The blue Chilling Reign Elite Trainer Box features Ice Rider Calyrex while the purple box depicts Shadow Rider Calyrex.
The boxes are sealed with thin plastic shrink wrap.
What is in a Chilling Reign Elite Trainer Box?
After carefully removing the plastic shrink wrap covering, the outer sleeve can be slid off to reveal a Player’s Guide and an inner box.
The inner box holds the main contents of the box and is designed to function as a card holder once the products inside have been removed.
The images of the contents shown here are of the Shadow Rider Calyrex Box.
The contents of both boxes are the same but the inner box, card sleeves and card dividers have images of the character featured on the outside of the box.
The contents of the inner box are:
8 Chilling Reign sealed booster packs
A sealed pack of 45 assorted energy cards
4 dividers for the card holder box featuring the character depicted on the box
A sealed pack of 65 card sleeves with Shadow Rider Calyrex or Ice Rider Calyrex design
A sealed pack of dice and a sealed pack containing 2 markers.
A book of the Pokémon Trading Card game rules and a code card tor the online game.
