What are the Calyrex V Collection Boxes?
Two Calyrex V Collection Boxes were released on 6th August 2021 as part of the Chilling Reign expansion set.
Calyrex is a new Pokémon that was introduced in the Sword and Shield series. Calyrex has two forms – Ice Rider and Shadow Rider. Ice Rider Calyrex is formed when Calyrex rides Glastrier and Shadow Rider Calyrex is formed when Calyrex rides Spectrier.
In the Trading Card Game both forms of Calyrex first appear in the Chilling Reign expansion set that was released on 18th June 2021. It appears as V and VMAX cards as well as Sword and Shield Promo Cards.
As with all expansion sets, Pokémon have released a number of collectable boxes and tins.
The boxes measure 29 x 23 x 4 cm (11.5 x 9 x 1.6 inches) and retail for around £20 ($28). The bottom section of each box is the same while the top of the Ice Rider Calyrex box is blue and white and the top of the Shadow Rider Calyrex box is blue and purple.
What’s in the Boxes?
The Calyrex V Collection boxes are not shrink-wrapped but the cardboard outer packaging is very well sealed.
After unsealing the side of the boxes the contents can be slid out. They are housed in a clear plastic tray and protected with a clear plastic cover.

A regular sized Ice Rider Calyrex V Black Star Promo Card SWSH130
