What is the Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex Box?
The Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex Collection is a new ex Box that will release on the 15th November 2024, a week after the release of the Surging Sparks expansion set. It has a recommended retail price of £23.99 in the UK and $21.99 in the US.
The released image of the box shows a rectangular format with a cut out section revealing the contents of the box. The box dimensions have not been released but earlier rectangular format Collection boxes were 29 x 23 x 4 cm (11.5 x 9 x 1.6 inches), so we can expect this box to be a similar size.
The artwork for the box is predominantly red, orange and black in colour. The cut out section appears to be cut out of a large, central blood moon, which lies against a black background. Bloodmoon Ursaluna is featured in the bottom right hand corner of the box.
The box description on the back of the box reads:
‘Unleash the Bloodmoon Beast! Its gaze pierces the darkness. The full moon marking on its forehead shines deep red. Bloodmoon Ursaluna prowls the misty hollows of the forest, drawing experienced Trainers in search of adventure. Is the Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex Box good value for money?
The box contains one Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex Black Star Promo Card, one Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex Jumbo promo card, a Noctowl Card, a Hoothoot card and 4 Booster packs. Individual booster packs generally retail for around £4 in the UK and $4 in the US. Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex is a popular Pokémon and the regular sized promo card is likely to sell for around £4 / $4. The Jumbo sized card could fetch around £5 / $5, while the value of the other two cards is negligible.
Four Booster packs would therefore cost £16 / $16 adding the expected value of the three cards takes the total to around £25.00 or $25.00 which higher than the retail price in the UK and the US. The Bloodmoon ex Box is therefore reasonable value for money.
