Blastoise Pokédex Information
Blastoise is a Water type character that first appeared in Pokémon Red and Blue which released internationally on 28th September 1998. It evolves from Wartortle and is the final evolution of Squirtle.
Blastoise is a blue turtle that walks on two legs. In regular form it has blue ears and a short blue tail. It is amphibious and can live on land and in the water and is a good swimmer. It has a large shell that houses two powerful cannons. It crushes its foe under its heavy body to cause fainting. In a pinch, it will withdraw inside its shell.
It can evolve to Mega form with Blastoisinite. In this form it is much heavier due to the third much larger cannon that is positioned over its head and is as powerful as a tank gun. Its tough legs and back enable it to withstand the recoil from firing the cannon.
Blastoise can evolve to Gigantamax form once in battle with the Dynamax Band. In this form it is much bigger and its weight is unknown. Its shell houses 31 powerful cannons but it’s not very good at precision shooting. When attacking, it just fires its 31 cannons over and over and over.
