What is the Battle Styles Elite Trainer Box?
The Battle Styles Elite Trainer Box was released on 19th March 2021 as part of the Battle Styles launch. There are two different designs featuring Rapid Strike Urshifu and Single Strike Urshifu.
An Elite Trainer Box (ETB) is a special set of cards and accessories that includes everything necessary to play the Pokémon Trading Card game.
Traditionally, one ETB was released per expansion set. However, the Battle Styles set released two different designs of Elite Trainer Boxes.
The Blue Elite Trainer Box features Rapid Strike Urshifu while the red box depicts Single Strike Urshifu. The Single and Rapid strike mechanic was introduced with this expansion set.
The boxes are sealed with thin plastic shrink wrap.
What is in a Battle Styles Elite Trainer Box?
After carefully removing the plastic shrink wrap covering, the outer sleeve can be slid off to reveal a Player’s Guide and an inner box.
The inner box contains the main contents of the box and is designed to function as a card holder once the products inside have been removed.
The images of the contents shown here are of the Blue Rapid Strike Urshifu Box.
The contents of both boxes are the same but the inner box, card sleeves and card dividers are either blue or red and have images of the character featured on the outside of the box.
The contents of the inner box are:
8 Battle Styles sealed booster packs
A sealed pack of 45 assorted energy cards
4 dividers for the card holder box featuring the character depicted on the box
A sealed pack of 65 card sleeves with Rapid Strike Urshifu or Single Strike Urshifu design
A sealed pack of blue or red dice and a sealed pack containing 2 markers.
A book of the Pokémon Trading Card game rules and a code card tor the online game.
