Aerodactyl Pokédex Information
Aerodactyl is a Rock / Flying type Pokémon that first appeared in Pokémon Red and Blue which released internationally on 28th September 1998. It does not evolve.
Aerodactyl is a two-legged character that resembles a Pterodactyl. It is predominantly grey but the underside of its wings are purple. It has a large, strong jaw lined with sharp teeth. Its arms are attached to its wings and each of its hands have three digits. Its legs end with two claws and its tail ends with an arrow point. This is a ferocious Pokémon from ancient times. Apparently even modern technology is incapable of producing a perfectly restored specimen. It can evolve to Mega form with Aerodactylite.
In Mega form Aerodactyl is bigger and heavier. Its body is studded with dark grey plates and dark grey rocky projections are attached to its ears, jaw, tail and the edges of its wings. The power of Mega Evolution has completely restored its genes. The rocks on its body are harder than diamond.
